Moving On!! :)

OH ME GOSH!!! It has been 5 days since I last posted and tbh there is no specific reason as to why I have not posted besides the fact that; well this time of the year is crazy busy and I am no exception my life has been bloody insane. But it doesn’t matter now since I am back and in a super amazing good and happy mood.

I wanted to talk about and share with you guys pretty much the most life changing book ever and it has definitely opened my eyes and helped me make changes in my life for the better. This is for any of the girls going through a crappy breakup and they need a little pick me up to get them through it.

My mum picked up this book called breakup’s and breakthroughs by Lisa Messenger.

The book takes you through all the honest stages of a breakup, which definitely includes not denying yourself the emotional release aka crying your eyes out until you have no tears left. Which definitely helps get all the emotions of a breakup out of your system. Additionally, if you are going through a pretty recent breakup it is extremely beneficial to get yourself out of bed and if you can out of the house. And as Lisa puts it even if it is just for one hour and then you go right back to bed to hibernate it will definitely make all the difference.

Another amazing which I think would help anyone going through a difficult breakup would definitely be to let go of the anger and disdain you may feel towards someone. This completely helped me as the more anger I felt towards this specific person. Just the more it consumed my days in terms of thinking about them constantly and checking their facebook and overall just really hurting your own happiness but simply just not letting go. And letting go is honestly the most helpful thing you can do for yourself.

More importantly during a breakup make sure that you really take the time to look after yourself, spend that little extra on your skincare this month to pamper yourself a little before bed. Go spend that extra spending money on going to get your nails done. Because when you do these things you will be surprised at how much better little by little you will feel.

What I wish for everyone to get from this is, to not deny yourself happiness!!!!!

Learning New Things :)

Hey Guys,

This blog post may be a little less creative but I also think it might be well worth sharing, it is I guess just talking about my day and life (which may seem a little boring), but I promise it isn’t (or at least I hope). Today was one of those days where I guess when you are going through a bit of a difficult time and pretty much any little bad thing that happens, makes you go and think of basically every bad thing that has happened recently.

So I think the biggest lesson of all that I have learnt today is that venting is necessary and sometimes you just have to force yourself into positivity. Basically it was just a little bit of a bad day at work with the boss, which can become extremely frustrating. Because as I have touched on before I am quite the stress-head and when one thing goes wrong especially in a workplace it just makes me think.

“Omg am I going to get fired?” or

“They probably think I am such an idiot now.”

Yes these all do go through my head quite a bit. And I recently went through a bad breakup and so of course as my brain is unfortunately naturally wired, that when the things with the boss goes wrong of course I just think about the breakup. Because why not add salt to my cuts?

But, good things do happen from maybe not the greatest days in the world, and this is, that it makes me put into practice what I am forever telling myself to do, but simply never put into action. That is, I follow the 5 by 5 rule and that is, if it is not going to matter in 5 years then do not spend more than 5 minutes thinking about it. I think in one day a million good things can happen and then as soon as one bad thing happens that has ruined your day and dictates the mood of your day, since that is how your brain is naturally wired. But I think in the more modern times it is much better to try and say little things to yourself that can make you think a little more positively. Because girl trust me this world does need more of it.

Another thing, that I really love to do when I am not feeling amazing is just write down as many positive things about my day as possible, therefore this can just train or I guess trick your brain into thinking just more content and happy about your day. And the last thing I love to do is to just keep smiling, because smiling can also trick your brain into thinking a lot happier. Of course if you have anymore tips in terms of creating a much happier mind feel free to share them below.

I promise tomorrow will be a happier and more creative post.

Little things that may help create a stress free room!! :)

Okay if there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I am the biggest stress head you actually might ever meet in the world. Like I swear I actually cannot relax even at the best of times. So for those of you that are in the same boat as me, this may be of use to you. I love to make my room a safe space for me to just be able to unwind and just add little small touches that make your room feel a little more homely.

First off one of my favourite stores for this is, Kiki-K, I honestly get so much stuff from there. The first thing I am going to tell you about is, I love their little quote card stand things (I honestly do not know what it is called, but there is a picture below). I try to change it around everyday and these serve as a little reminder that the fate of life is in your hands. And if you’re anything like me, you will be the type to worry about your future a lot so these really help put everything into perspective.

In addition to that, I also love the little trinkets you can buy from Kiki-k, so basically I bought this tea-cup set and I am absolutely obsessed with it. To me those little decorations really add that little bit extra to your room, just to make it that little bit more your own.

And the last thing from Kiki-k (I promise) that I have absolutely been loving is having a little happiness book, at the end of every day, so basically just before I go to bed haha. I fill out my happy book with pretty much all the positive things that happened that day in conjunction with all the happy adventures I want to have. This just helps train your brain to think more positively especially if you are feeling that little bit extra stressed, it can be really easy to slip into a more negative mindset. This just helps you get out of that pretty much and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!

And the very last thing that I personally reckon really helps create a more calming environment, of course are candles. At night I will literally light like 10 in my room and just lie in bed watching youtube and it really helps to set the mood to unwind. Some of my absolutely favs, are the Glasshouse candles which you can get from Minimax or Peter Alexander, the smells in these ones can be particularly strong so if you are not a fan of super strong scents; I would recommend Bath and Body Works candles instead.
